It's out of order again... This K and JH watching "Aristocats"
The Cassidy family are good friends with Kris and Sandi, and they are neighbors, too. Kris and John have worked together in construction for the past couple of years, both in commercial and private home repair. I told them about Mendocino and offered my site to them so they could spend some time here. John and Allyson have three wonderful children: K who is 12 and 1/2, JH-9, and C who is 8. Together with my girls Kris and Sandi and my beautiful Grandbaby C who is 2 and 1/2 we had a busy 4 days. First was the trip to the farmer's Market in Mendo, a tour of the Ford House and of course, the Mendo Headlands topped by a little shopping. The rest of the weekend included Glass Beach and The Big River Beach and lots of activity at the campsite. All the children pitched in and brought firewood from the woodpile. I had so much fun and will miss them all! At least they promised to return....
Kris is practicing her duck blind position-or is she hiding from the kids?
Here's our camp site. Kris is setting the table for a meal
Nothing is neater than sitting around the fire with a good book. Sandi is on the left, Allyson on the right, Kris is in the background. John, our Lord of the Flame kept the fires going for cooking and warmth.
All Round Guy-great cook and flame keeper . John should be sharing his recipes for one pot meals
The kids had some down time and watched "The Aristocrats" C and JH on my bed.

Okay, I want to know what's in the dutch oven on the grill where John is also cooking some awesome looking sausages and corn. He's one handy guy, that Lord of the Fire! Sure looks like a fun time. Good pictures, Pat. You captured the fullness of the family time around camp.
